New Year, New Start

I always look forward to the New Year as a new start, personally and with work. I make new year’s resolutions, but often don’t finish what I promised I’d do. I am doing things slightly differently this year, and have made over 30! I know, I know, it’s a lot but I am working on a 10% rate, so hopefully there will be 3 things that I am still doing in the summer.

One of my resolutions is to travel more around France. We travel a lot but it’s always in a hurry and for work. I love our area and being a city girl in the country means every day is new and interesting but there is a lot I have to see. We visited Paris just before Christmas which was wonderful, but driving through new regions made me realise there were areas travelled through that hadn’t been properly investigated. So, travelling to brocantes will be done much more leisurely, with more overnight stays, and plenty of visiting chateaux and other beautiful places. I’ll let you know how it goes.

So just to start the ball rolling, a few photos of Paris and some treasures bought at recent brocantes. I hope you keep all your resolutions and that we are all healthier/more travelled/slimmer (insert appropriate word) and that 2015 is full of new promise.
